Am 22.3. ist Weltwassertag – dies haben wir als Anlass für eine Fahrradtour durch Hannover genommen. Der Weltwassertag ist dabei seinem Namen auch treu geblieben – begleitet von anhaltendem Regen sind wir mit 10 interessierten Teilnehmer*innen durch Hannover geradelt und haben die siedlungswasserwirtschaftlichen Besonderheiten unserer Stadt erkundet. Neben einem kurzen Einblick in die aktuelle Situation der Siedlungswasserwirtschaft in Hannover mit einer historisch gewachsenen Infrastruktur waren Themen wie die Klimawandelanpassung und zukünftigen Herausforderungen, die an die Ressource Wasser in einem urbanen Umfeld gestellt werden, Themen, über die wir gemeinsam diskutiert und gesprochen haben.

Der Abschlussbericht der ersten Projektphase ist nun unter "Publikationen" einsehbar. Der Bericht gliedert sich in den Teil A mit den Forschungsergebnisse aller Teilprojekte und Umsetzungspiloten eingeordnet in den methodischen Kontext der übergeordneten Umsetzungsansätze. Die Einzelergebnisse und Detailbeschreibungen einzelner Arbeitspakete können dann im Berichtsteil B „Detailberichte“ vertieft betrachtet werden.
Welche Maßnahmen trifft die Landeshauptstadt Hannover zur Anpassung an den Klimawandel? Ein Informationsfilm gibt hier Einblicke.
Aufbauend auf dem Vorgängerprojekt TransMiT startete im September 2022 die 2-jährige Verstetigungsphase „TransKOM - Integration einer ressourcenoptimierten Trennentwässerung durch Transformation kommunaler Planungsprozesse für Bestandsquartiere“.
Das in TransMiT erarbeitete Konzept der qualitätsbasierten Trennentwässerung (qbTE) und der neu initiierte Verwaltungsprozess Stadt-Quartier 2050+ bilden die zwei Kernaspekte des TransKOM-Projekts. Anhand einer integralen Quartiersplanung und auf Basis der beiden Kernaspekte wird die institutionalisierte strategische Quartierentwicklung in der Praxis erprobt und für die Praxis weiterentwickelt.
Damit diese praxisorientierte Lösung gelingt, sind neben den wissenschaftlichen Partnern (ISAH und IIRM) von kommunaler Seite die Stadt Hannover, die Stadt Hildesheim und die Stadtentwässerung Hildesheim am Projekt beteiligt. Darüber hinaus werden die Wohnungsgenossenschaft spar+bau, das Planungsbüro BPI Hannover * Verworn Beratende Ingenieure, GEO-NET Umweltconsulting und der Bundesverband GebäudeGrün Teil des Projekts sein. Mit allen Partnern hat am 08.12.2022 das erste Verbundtreffen stattgefunden. Die hier ausgetauschten ersten Erkenntnisse und Absprachen waren eine erfolgreiche Einstimmung auf die gemeinsame Projektlaufzeit und versprechen ein spannendes und umfangreiches Projekt, welches sich auch durch eine hohe Aktualität und Relevanz auszeichnet.
Zum 01.09.2022 startet das Projekt "TransKOM" als Verstetigung des Projekts "TransMiT".
