Auch in 2025 wird es eine Fahrradtour zu dem Thema "Wasser in der Stadt" in Hannover in Zusammenarbeit mit Ökostadt e.V. und der Stadt Hanniver geben. Auf ca. 12 km geht es an unterschiedlichen Standorten um verschiedene wasserwirtschaftliche Themen im Rahmen der Klimawandelanpassung. Welche Relevanz hat das Wasser für die Stadt Hannover? Die Fahrradtour zeigt auf, welche Herausforderungen für z.B. Abwasser, Trinkwasser oder Regenwasser bestehen und welche Weichen durch sie gestellt werden können, um auch in Zukunft gut in Hannover leben zu können. Am 24.9. von 09:30 - 12:30 findet die Abschlussveranstaltung der Fördermaßnahme „Ressourceneffiziente Stadtquartiere für die Zukunft – RES:Z“ des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung statt. Im Rahmen der Fördermaßnahme wurden innovative Konzepte für einen ressourceneffizienten Umgang mit Wasser, Fläche, Stoffströmen, Energie und Stadtgrün in städtischen Quartieren entwickelt. Ziel war es, eine integrative Planung sowie ein nachhaltiges Management der Stadtquartiere zu ermöglichen – unter Beteiligung und Abstimmung aller relevanten Akteure.
Bei der Abschlussveranstaltung werden die von den Projekten erarbeiteten Lösungswege sowie die DIN SPEC 91468 „Leitfaden für ressourceneffiziente Stadtquartiere“ vorgestellt, auch die Projektergebnisse von TransKOM werden präsentiert.

Im aktuellen fbr Wasserspiegel ist ein Artikel von Stefan Geyler zum Thema der Klimaanpassung durch integrale blau-grüne Infrastrukturen veröffentlicht. Die integrale Planung ist wesentlicher Forschungsschwerpunkt in TransMiT und TransKOM und die im Projekt untersuchten Ansätze zur Stärkung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen kommunalen Fachbereichen werden beleuchtet.
Nach einem schönen Auftakt anlässlich des Tag des Wassers bietet das ISAH die Fahrradtour "Was(ser)fahren" zu siedlungswasserwirtschaftlich relevanten Punkten in Hannover in Zusammenarbeit mit Ökostadt e.V. und der Landeshauptstadt Hannover erneut an.
